When trying to send an Engage Consult request to SystmOne with the patient record open, SystmOne won’t allow the request to be sent and will cause an error to be displayed.  This is the way that TPP has designed SystmOne to work. When this happens the request will be placed in a queue to be sent.  Three attempts to send the request will be made while it’s in the queue and usually this is enough to add the request to SystmOne.  Very occasionally when a request can’t be sent from the queue, it will be surfaced as an unattached request which can then be sent manually.
