We need you to create a user account in Emis Web that Engage will use to interact with your clinical system.

Click on the Emis button to the top left of the Emis window, go to Configuration and click on Organisation Configuration.

 

Click on Add New User, then enter the following:


Title: Miss
Name: Touch
Last Name: Screen
Gender: Female
Username: engagehealth
Password: Password1


Remove the tick from ‘User must change password on next sign in'


 

Click Next


In the search box, type Receptionist, press enter and then double click the entry Receptionist below. 


Enter the following:


User Mnemonic: EHS
Authorise Prescriptions: None
Relationship: Associated
Contract start date: Today’s date


 

 

Click Next twice. You should see the User Role Profiles page.


RBAC Role: 

Select Receptionist Access Role (if it is already presented you will need to click on the drop down and select again)


 

RBAC Activities: 

Click the search icon, then use the search box top left to add the following RBAC codes (enter the code only):


ESC01 - View System Configuration
B0380 - Perform Detailed Health Record
B8029 - Managed Detailed Records
B0820 - View Patient Demographics
B0370 - View Summary Health Record


Once you can see the correct activity in the window below, double click to add it to the selected list in the bottom pane.

When complete click OK


Click OK – there is no need to proceed through the following screens of the user setup.


Configure Emis API


Now we need to configure the Emis API, this allows Engage to communicate with Emis Web.


Click on the Emis button to the top left of the Emis window, go to System Tools and click on EMAS Manager.


Select Partner API from the buttons at the bottom left:

 

Now locate Patient Entry Touch Screen in the list above, click to select it and then click Activate Application button.


Next click Edit Users button, locate the user engagehealth in the list and tick the box.


You will be prompted to set a password, enter the same password that you used for the user account Password1


Click OK.


Next click on the Login Access button.


Tick both boxes (Auto Login and Allow Login) alongside this user account:


Click OK.
