You can program your Engage touchscreen to automatically shut down at a specified time each day.

Open your Engage Touch Console from the PC in which you manage your touchscreen from. Remember that while the console is open, patients cannot use the check-in screen.

Within the Settings tab, you can configure the time in which you would like the touchscreen to power down. For each day of the week select the appropriate time from the drop down list.

Once you are happy with the times that you have selected, click on the Tools tab in on the top right hand side of the console. Then click Sync. This will initiate a “Synchronising screen” page which generally lasts a few seconds.

Once this process has concluded, you can exit the Engage Touch Console by clicking the X on the top right. This will put your check-in screen back into use with the amendments you have made.

If for any reason you need to power down your screen prior to the time you have set in the console, you can briefly tap the red power button on the bottom of the touchscreen. Please do not hold the red button down or switch the screen off via the mains socket as this can cause damage to the touchscreen as it would any other PC device.
