Depending on your clinical system you can set individual patient messages. You do not configure these on the touch screen itself. You actually add your patient messages against the appointments in the clinical system. Then your touch screen will display these messages. Depending on your clinical system you need to first choose whether you are going to put your patient messages in the Notes field or the Reason field of the appointment. When adding your messages you need to ensure you surround them with square brackets. Please see an EMIS Web reason field example below. The reason field can contain any other text and this other text will not be displayed. Only the information in square brackets will be displayed. In this example you can see the words 'Blood Test' and then the message 'Please see reception to pick up a form' in square brackets [Please see reception to pick up a form]
