Depending on your clinical system you can set individual patient messages. You do not configure these on the touch screen itself. You actually add your patient messages against the appointments in the clinical system. 



To enable this feature, you must first click on which field the message will be entered into, for System1 this will be "notes" and for EMIS Web it will be "Reason" These can be found in the settings tab within the Engage Touch Console, as below.





The Reason or Notes field can contain any other text and this other text will not be displayed. Only the information in square brackets will be displayed.
