Introduction
The main new feature in this release is Collaboration
Collaboration is a new Engage Consult feature which allows organisations to share requests from patients with other organisations, ensuring patients can access the right care, at the right time and place that meets their needs and makes the most of valuable NHS resources.
We have put together an explanation video here (8:42) to highlight some of the scenarios where you might use Collaboration.
If you would like to know how to set this up for your organisation please get in touch with your account manager who can organise a demonstration and advise you how best to configure Collaboration for your organisation's scenario. We already have two PCNs using it to help deliver their Care Home DES.
You can read a case study here about how one of the PCNs uses it.
If you would like to get started without our help you can use these instructions to help you get started with Collaboration. There is no update to the Engage client required for this release. Once the release is live you will see the changes the next time you log in.
Coming Soon
Our Product Development team is busy building the following new features which we expect to deliver in the coming weeks:
1.Link directly to specific Engage Consult questionnaires.
2.Allow patients to send attachments for existing requests when asked to by the practice.
3.Initiate contact with patients asking them to complete a questionnaire, for example in advance of CDM reviews.
4.Find what you need by searching and filtering requests.
5.Save searches and filters you need to use repeatedly.
What you may have Missed
Video Consulting is built into Engage Consult and available with your current license at no additional cost to your practice, PCN or CCG. If you would like to start using Engage Consult's video consulting please read these instructions.
You can sort your requests to show the oldest or newest first.
The total number of requests assigned to a group or colleague, as well as the number unread, is now displayed alongside the group or colleague. This makes it easier to see, at a glance if anybody needs help with their workload.
