With release 66 of Engage Consult, we've enabled the ability to Sort, Search and Filter requests.
Sort:
The new sort function allows you to sort you requests in a few different orders:
Received Newest to Oldest - Will display requests in the order they were received, with the most recent at the top.
Received Oldest to Newest - Will display requests in the order they were received, with the oldest at the top.
Updated Newest to Oldest - Will display requests in the order they were last updated, with the most recent at the top.
Updated Oldest to Newest - Will display requests n the order they were last updated, with the oldest at the top.
Unread First: This orders the messages with the unread messages at the top.
Priority: This orders requests according to the priority status assigned to each request. Once requests are sorted according to priority, they can be further sorted using any of the above filters.
(For details on setting request priorities see the relevant article here)
Search:
You can now search for requests by either the name of the patient, or by the contents of the request as well by the selected condition. (See below for examples of searching by name and condition.)
The Search bar can be found at the top of the screen next to the Patients tab.
Please note search terms will remain until removed by clicking the X in the search bar.
Filter:
To start using filters, simply click on the "Filters" button.
The Click "Select Filters"
You can then chose which types of filters you wish to use, (note these can be further refined once selected.)
There are, broadly speaking, 3 types of filter available.
1. Toggles like "Waiting for Patient" which is a binary choice allowing to filter out either those requests that are waiting for a patient to respond, or those which are not.
2. Multiple choice filters like "Request Type" which allow you to choose from a number of variables to further refine your search filter. You can select any number or combination of these to customise your search to your needs.
3. Finally there are the keyword search type filters. There are two of these currently available "Conditions" and "Groups & Colleagues"
This final type allows you to search from the predefined lists of conditions or staff members, depending on the search used.
For example a search term like "Cancer" wold auto-populate with all relevant conditions like so:
And a search term like "Dr" would populate a list of all those with that in their display name, like so:
