To use Engage call, you'll need to first install the Engage Desktop Client for full instructions see our guide here

Opening the Engage Toolbar:

To begin you'll need to open the Engage Toolbar from with in the Engage Desktop Client, you can do this by clicking the icon at the top of the Engage Client, highlighted below:


Setting your room:

Before you can begin calling in patients, you'll need to set the name of the room you are in, you'll be prompted to do this when you click on the call icon, the open door.

When you mouse over the door icon it will show the full "call patient" button, click this to begin.


When you use call for the first time, you'll need to type in the room name/number and click "continue" 


On subsequent uses, you'll be able to select from a choice of previously used room from the drop down menu:



When you click "continue" the API will check for any patients in your name marked as arrived or waiting and display them, if no patients are waiting you will see the error below, and can click "refresh list" to re-check.




When you do have patients waiting, they'll appear in a list like this, you can then click on the patient you wish to call and a message will display on the screen in the waiting room.

When you click a patient, they will be called in via the call in screen in reception and you'll see the following confirmation message.
