Online consultations
Prevent requests saving to the investigations section of Emis Web
You pointed out that requests were appearing in the consultations section as well as the investigations section of the patient records in Emis Web. As requested, we will no longer send them to the investigations section.
Patient preference
You asked us to increase the character limit for patient preference options - your wish is our command! You can now enter up to 200 characters for each.
Arrive
Locations for mobile check-in
You can now configure check-in on mobile for your different locations. This means that patients will be able to arrive for their appointment using their mobile phone at your main site or any branch. Patients can be prevented from arriving at the wrong branch by selecting the location assigned in your appointment sessions (not available to Vision customers). Configure your locations in the Mobile tab of Appointment arrivals in the Management Console.
We've also changed the maps to use a satellite view making it easier to set the boundary area for each location.
Bugs
Here's the bugs that we've squished in this release:
- Some patients using the Safari browser to view an attached file (rather than downloading) were unable to view the file, this has now been rectified.
- A small amount of NHS login users were experiencing an issue logging in, the problem has been identified and resolved.
- Outbound SMS were being recorded twice on the patient's record for EMIS Web customers - we know how important it is not to clutter the record so this has been fixed immediately.
- It was reported that the video in the 7 day blood pressure questionnaire was not playing for some patients using our Engage Consult on iOS - it's playing just fine now.
Coming soon...
And we thought you'd like a little sneak peek of what is around the corner for Engage Call - an improved layout that includes a news ticker allowing you to display information messages to your patients waiting for their appointment.
