Watch a short video below on how to use the Engage toolbar to call in a patient.
Steps to Call a Patient from Engage Toolbar
Open Engage Toolbar Launch the Engage Desktop Client (or double-click the Engage icon if it’s in the system tray).
The toolbar will appear (either as a floating bar or “toolbar mode”).
Click the “Call Patient”
On the toolbar you’ll see a door icon
If this is the first time using it, you will be prompted to enter the name or number of your “room” (e.g. waiting room / consultation room identifier), then click Continue.
Select the Patient and Call Them In
When a waiting patient appears, click on their name in the list.
The toolbar will then send a “call in” signal, notifying the waiting room (or reception) and the patient will be called.
You should see a confirmation message on screen indicating the call has been made.
