The message API Logon Outcome Error (3) may display for patients when checking in, or when you click the Import Staff from Clinical button inside the Console. 


This can happen if the API password used in the Touchscreen Console is no longer correct in EMAS Manager.


How to resolve


Open EMIS web and click the EMIS icon top left > System Tools > EMAS Manager > Partner API Highlight Patient Entry Touchscreen and click Edit users. Find the account being used on the list and set the password to same one used in the Touchscreen console. Double click Login Access for the account and confirm both boxes are ticked.
