To assign a priority status to a request in Engage Consult simply use the drop down menu to the right of the "Open Patient Record in Clinical System" button.


You will be presented with 4 options as show below.


When changing the priority of a request you will be asked to provide a reason for this change of priority, as shown here.



The new priority, along with the reason given is then added to the notes within the request.



This priority can be overridden at a later date, this will add the new priority status as an additional note, alongside the original classification.



With priority status' assigned to your requests, you will then be able to sort your requests by priority status, and further sort those messages into chronological order of requests received, or requests last modified.
